Ticiana Landeiro é uma fotógrafa baiana com formação em Artes Visuais pelo Instituto de Criatividade, Artes e Novas Tecnologias (Lisboa) e em Fotografia Contemporânea pelo Atelier de Lisboa. Seu trabalho documental “Rabo de Peixe”, sobre a comunidade pesqueira açoriana homônima, foi publicado pela revista Time Out de Lisboa. Já o ensaio “Mulheres Intendentes”, que retrata mulheres imigrantes empreendedoras na capital portuguesa, foi exposto na Casa Intendente, em Lisboa. De volta à sua terra natal, Salvador – BA, Ticiana voltou seu olhar para a potência da cultura afro-baiana. Seus ensaios buscam dar visibilidade a corpos, rituais, ofícios e territórios que sustentam a identidade cultural de Salvador, reconhecendo neles uma força que, paradoxalmente, a distância geográfica ajudou a enxergar com mais nitidez. Com uma prática que transita entre o documental e o poético, Ticiana constrói narrativas visuais comprometidas com a memória, a representatividade feminina e a valorização das histórias que resistem nas margens. Ticiana tem participação confirmada na I Bienal de Papel e Fotografia, no Enokojima Art Center, em Osaka, Japão, em setembro de 2026.

Ticiana Landeiro is a photographer from Bahia with a degree in Visual Arts from the Institute of Creativity, Arts and New Technologies (Lisbon) and in Contemporary Photography from the Atelier de Lisboa. Her documentary project “Rabo de Peixe,” centered on the Azorean fishing community of the same name, was published by Time Out Lisbon. Meanwhile, her photo essay “Mulheres Intendentes,” which portrays immigrant women entrepreneurs in the Portuguese capital, was exhibited at Casa Intendente in Lisbon. Returning to her roots in Salvador, Brazil, Ticiana has turned her lens toward the power of Afro-Bahian culture. Her work seeks to provide visibility to the bodies, rituals, crafts, and territories that sustain Salvador’s cultural identity, recognizing in them a strength that—paradoxically—geographical distance helped her see more clearly. With a practice that moves between the documentary and the poetic, Ticiana builds visual narratives committed to memory, female representation, and the valorization of stories that resist at the margins. Ticiana is confirmed to participate in the I Biennial of Paper and Photography at the Enokojima Art Center in Osaka, Japan, in September 2026.
